Holy Week 2020

Plan to spend time with Jesus and your church family this Holy Week from the comfort of your own home. Each one of Trinity’s Holy Week services will take place via Facebook Live and provide you with a deeper understanding of the final days of Jesus earthly ministry and uplift you with His message of hope. May God bless your Holy Week Worship!

Palm Sunday – April 5, 2020

Palm Sunday Worship will take place at 9:15 a.m on Sunday, April 5. As we worship together via Facebook Live we will reflect on Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem which took place just days before He was crucified. We will listen to and sing our beautiful Palm Sunday Hymns.

Maundy Thursday – April 9, 2020

While we will not be offering communion on Maundy Thursday, we will have a meaningful worship together via Facebook Live at 7:00 p.m. The Maundy Thursday liturgy, sermon, and hymns will focus on Jesus’ teachings during His Last Supper and the gift we have in communion. Historically there have been other times when the Church has gone without Holy Communion for some time. We will learn of some of this history during our Maundy Thursday worship – April 9 at 7:00 p.m.

Good Friday – April 10, 2020

Good Friday Worship will feature a tenebrae service. We are asking each household to gather seven candles or lights to create their own service of darkness with their family at home. As we extinguish the candles on the altar, you can extinguish candles and darken your room at home. This year’s tenebrae will help make Good Friday 2020 meaningful and memorable for years to come. We hope you can join us in real time via Facebook Live on Friday, April 10 at 7:00 p.m.
