The 2017 Living Water Walk will bring members of the local community together to raise funds and awareness for clean drinking water.

While travelling three laps around beautiful Lake Callis in Davison Township, participants will be reminded how billions living in developing countries walk this same distance every day to collect water for their families.  Often the water carried home is polluted with waste, bacteria, and viruses.  According to the World Health Organization, millions of deaths could be averted each year “through access to safe water supply, adequate sanitation services and better hygiene practices”.

All funds raised from the Living Water Walk will be used to purchase water filtration kits which will be distributed in the African nation of Uganda.  Volunteers from Calvary Lutheran Church in Wray, Colorado will travel to Uganda where they will distribute filtration kits, hold hygiene Vacation Bible Schools, and educate local people about sustainable farming.

We invite you to join us helping to bring clean water to the people of Uganda.
