Priorities

00:00/00:00

Which place of priority does Jesus have in your life? At the top of your to-do list do you find things like “listening to Jesus”, “praying”, “going to church”, and “giving to Christian missions”?

In this midweek Lenten message by Pastor Frusti he considers the life of Mary, the sister of Lazarus and Martha.  In many ways, Mary presents a good example of someone who allows Jesus to be a priority in their life.  She possibly faced persecution on account of her commitment to Jesus.  However, Jesus would continue to be her Lord, Savior, and Protector.  Concerning Mary, Jesus would say, “but few things are needed–or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her” (Luke 10:42).  May the Holy Spirit inspire you to follow Mary’s example.
