Waiting is not easy. We all know that being idle is not helpful for patience. In this message by Pastor Todd Frusti, we consider the Biblical wisdom of 2 Peter 3:8-14 as it applies to the lessons in patience which are learned in this season on Advent.

Digging Deeper Study:
Read again this week’s Gospel account from Mark 1:1-8. Verse one likely contains Mark’s original title for the work. What do you think it is?
In the very first verse of his book, Mark identifies Jesus as the “Son of God”. This is not the only place that Mark makes this claim about Jesus in his Gospel. Please see some of the other accounts: Mark 3:7-12 and Mark 14:53-65.
Compare the first five verses of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. How do they differ? What do their idiosyncrasies reveal about their particular audiences?
