My Brother’s Keeper

Not far from Trinity Lutheran Church can be found many who are experiencing homelessness. Responding to God’s love for us, each month, a ministry team from our church visit the residents of My Brother’s Keeper in Flint to encourage them with conversation, a hot meal, and the Word of God.
We invite you to help us in this act of love to our neighbors in Flint. Help is needed in the following areas:
- Join us to visit with and serve the residents of My Brother’s Keeper.
- Donate a needed food item. A list of items is posted each month on the church lobby bulletin board.
- Make a financial donation. Donations can be placed in the regular offering plate. Please indicate on the envelope or memo line of your check that the gift is for MBK.

Ministry Schedule
5:00 p.m. – Meet at Trinity, load vehicles, carpool to MBK
5:30 p.m. – Arrive at MBK. Set up. Prepare to serve.
6:00 p.m. – Devotion/worship service
6:15 p.m. – Serve meal to MBK residents. Visit with residents.
6:45 p.m. – Clean up. Pack vehicles. Return to Trinity.
7:15 p.m. – Arrive at Trinity. Return supplies to Trinity kitchen. See you next month!
