MAY 2, 2020 Update:

Voters Meeting CANCELLED -You probably already have assumed, but the Voter Meeting scheduled for this Sunday is cancelled! Rather than try to guess a date and reschedule, the council decided to just cancel it and pick back up with our November 1st Voters meeting.

As already published –  all activities at Trinity are suspended through May, as for extensions or changes beyond that, we will monitor and evaluate the situation during the weeks of May, and then make a decision based on the health, safety and welfare of our congregation. (1 Peter 5:2 Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them )

Volunteer Dinner – For as much as we Love our Volunteers, we have decided to postpone this year’s Volunteer Dinner that was scheduled in June, until a later date, that date to be determined as the summer progresses.

Vacation Bible School – will also be cancelled this summer, there are talks of maybe trying a VBS during the schools intersession in the fall, as not to lose the opportunity to connect with the community youths, we will keep you updated on all of these events as decisions are made.

A little extra – During our time with an empty building, we will be having the cleaning company take on some bigger projects, such as window washing inside and out, stripping and resealing the Narthex, Trinity Roomand Basement floors, and also cleaning the carpet on the main level and stairs.

Streaming Live – During this time, and continuing after we return to in house worship, we will continue to Live Stream our Sunday Morning Worship Services, at this time, it’s a necessity for the health of our congregation, beyond COVID-19 it will be a tremendous opportunity for us to expand our ministry to reach many more individuals in the Mission Field (Mark 16:15   15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.)  (Luke 14:23    23 “Then the master told his servant, ‘Go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full.)  ( Matthew 28:19     19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, ) This will also be an opportunity for shut-ins, college students, and vacationers to stay connected with their Trinity family here in Davison.
