Basement Remodel / Sanctuary Renovations

Construction Has Begun!

“Please pardon our dust” Over the coming months we are going to get accustomed to a “dusty” church building as much needed renovations take place.

Planned Improvements

At the May 7 Voter’s Meeting, unanimous approval was given to proceed with remodeling of the church basement and our worship area. Between now and Back to Church Sunday (Sept. 19) we will see the following improvements take place:

  • Three new restrooms constructed in the church basement.
  • New ceiling and lighting in church basement.
  • New flooring in church basement.
  • Removal of all asbestos tiles in church basement and stairways.
  • Enlarged altar area.
  • New carpeting and flooring in sanctuary.
  • New basement windows.
  • Freshly painted basement walls.
  • New custodian closet added to the church basement.
  • New storage area added to church basement.

Donate / Give

The total cost of the remodeling projects taking place this summer is $127,480. One-half of this cost will be paid for from our savings account. The remainder will be paid for through on-going donations and contributions. If you would like to make a donation toward this project, please write “BUILDING FUND” on the memo line of your check and/or use a “BUILDING FUND” envelope.
